The idea of a Climbing Triangle was developed by Hungarian pediatrician Dr. Emmi Pikler over 100 years ago. She believed kids should explore the Climbing Triangle on their own terms. If they can climb it, they should be able to do so freely.

Luula's Climbing Triangle can be used for children as young as 6 months to approx. 5 years old. It allows children to learn their own boundaries during their own time.

The point of the triangle is that it doesn’t need to be adjusted as your child grows because it works as the foundation on which they reach developmental milestones.

For example, babies can first play underneath it. Once they're ready they can use it to pull themselves up, then proceed to climb the structure. They can use their imagination and learn new skills.

Edge joints form very strong, stable angles. They hold the edges on both sides of the ladder.

Triangle edge slats can be completed with several triangles and a rocking arch. A slide/rock ramp with suitable mounts is also possibly included in the set for the triangle.

Material and safety. The CLIMBER set is made of 15 mm thick natural and very durable birch plywood, which ensures durability and safety throughout its use. The surface of the material is covered with a transparent laminate coating in opal white color, which fully preserves the natural pattern of the wood and gently reflects daylight. The surface is very smooth, warm, and pleasant to the touch, at the same time making material hard to avoid ugly scratches, abrasions, or stained ink stains. The edges are treated with natural, slightly darker natural oil, thus easily marking the vintage style in the interior.
