LUULA is a family-run design studio from Latvia

LUULA is a family-run design studio from Latvia. We create transformable children's furniture from Baltic birch plywood and hands-on stories that invite children to move, explore and do things for themselves.

Luula’s original, multifunctional contemporary kid’s furniture is deooking for opportunities to meet the child’s natural development needs in the everyday interior. The basic products are adjustable sensory tables and E.Pikler’s theory-inspired transformable indoor climbing sets- playground structures. We represent a playful yet straightforward aesthetic approach to design that accompanies harmonious family life, which is rooted in the Scandinavian traditions of simplicity. More than just a design brand, Luula creates childhood memories in real action and with appealing ideas.

We have chosen the most durable and safest materials for our furniture. It is made from certified Baltic birch plywood, with a natural finish. Production is carried out by modernized, technologically advanced Latvian companies. However, to ensure that our furniture is particularly child-friendly environmentally sustainable, and resilient, following our unique prototypes, a significant amount of handcrafting is involved in the processing and assembly of components, giving our products a special touch and value.
